- Until the end of January 2011, the 2 TBMs have bored a total of 8,196 meters of the final lining of the (single-track) tunnel.
- The excavation works for the foundation slab have been completed, while micro-piling works have commenced at EFKLEIDIS Station.
- The excavation works for the construction of the slab at level -1 of PANEPISTIMIO Station are in progress.
