Today, on Wednesday 25/06/2025, at 05:05, during the trial run related procedure that precedes – on a daily basis – the commencement of the Thessaloniki Metro system revenue service, an unpredicted indication was detected in the Automatic Train Supervision System.
In order to investigate this incident and rule out the presence of any fault, the revenue service of the line was suspended until the foreseen operation of the system is restored.
At 13:40 today, the revenue service of the Thessaloniki Metro system has been restored and train services are running normally.
