MANIATIKA STATION
STATION’s OPEN CUT
The following works have been completed:
- Waterproofing of perimeter walls
- Permanent lining of the foundation (level -4)
- Permanent lining of E/M slab (level -3)
- Permanent lining of the concourse slab (level -2)
- Permanent lining of staircace S4
- Permanent lining of E/M slab (level -1)
- Permanent lining of perimeter walls and columns
- Permanent lining of the roof slab and staircase S3
- Construction of perimeter walls of the station’s main entrance (at street level) and of the inclined part of the main entrance (shed).
The following works are in progress:
- Waterproofing of the roof slab
- Construction of and plastering of masonry walls at levels -4,
-3, -2 and -1.
- Architectural finishes – Painting works at level -4
- Industrial flooring at levels -3, -2
- Construction of permanent lining of the east lift of the station
MAIN TUNNEL OF THE STATION (ΝΑΤΜ)
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining of the station’s main tunnel
- Permanent lining of the deepening area
- Permanent lining of the northern and southern headwall
- Construction of parapet walls and platform slabs
- Secondary grouting of the vault of the main station tunnel
- Filling of platform ducts with non-reinforced concrete.
The following works are in progress:
- Repair works of the station’s concrete vault and painting works at level -5.
PIRAEUS STATION
The following works have been completed:
- Waterproofing works underneath the foundation
- Concreting of the foundation slab and placing of non-reinforced concrete over the foundation.
- Concreting of platforms and vertical elements underneath the platforms.
The following works are in progress:
- Installation of waterproofing at the station’s perimeter walls
- Concreting of the station’s perimeter walls
- Removal of struts and walers of the 1st row
- Installation of formwork, reinforcement and concreting of the roof slab
- Commencement of architectural finishes – construction of masonry walls
- Concreting of interior walls and columns
ROLOI SHAFT
The following works have been completed:
- Construction of foundation and permanent lining of perimeter walls (still pending is the termination at street level).
NATM ACCESS TUNNEL
The following works have been completed:
- Concreting of the permanent lining.
DIMOTIKO THEATRO STATION
MAIN STATION – AGHIOU KONSTANTINOU SQUARE
The following works have been completed:
- Sealing of the temporary pumping station.
The following works are put on hold:
- Installation of doors at E/M level.
The following works are in progress:
- Cleaning works
- Cement mortar laying works at the platform and ticketing levels
- Conservation of the archaeological finds of the Project.
UNDERGROUND PART OF THE STATION
The following works have been completed:
- Concreting of the permanent lining, walls and platform slab.
The following works are in progress:
- Cement mortar laying works at the platform level.
STAIRCASE GALLERIES
The following works have been completed:
- Concreting of the permanent lining and works related to secondary concreting.
KORAI SQUARE ENTRANCE AND ACCESS GALLERY
The following works have been completed:
- Concreting of the permanent lining, secondary concrete and waterproofing.
BAKOYIANNI SQUARE ENTRANCE AND ACCESS GALLERY
The following works have been completed:
- Waterproofing and concreting of the permanent lining (still pending is the waterproofing detail at the terminating point, at street level)
- Secondary concrete at the staircases.
The following works are put on hold:
- Secondary concrete at the access gallery.
- Backfilling – compaction related works.
DELIGIANNI SHAFT
The following works have been completed:
- Excavation and temporary retaining up to the final level
- Waterproofing, construction of foundation slab and perimeter walls down to -3.0.
PANEPISTIMIO SHAFT & VENTILATION TUNNEL
The following works have been completed:
- Excavation – temporary retaining
- Concreting of the foundation of the shaft’s permanent lining
- Concreting of the permanent lining of the connecting tunnel.

- Preparatory works for the metalwork of the perimeters walls
