SOARES DA COSTA S.A. &#8211; ZAGOPE-C.E. S.A.<br \/>\n&#8211; CONSTRUTORA DO TAMEGA S.A.<\/li>\n<li>\u0391\u039a\u03a4OR \u0391\u03a4\u0395 &#8211; SIEMENS AG &#8211; VINCI<\/li>\n<li>MICHANIKI<\/li>\n<li>J&amp;P-\u0391V\u0391X S.A. &#8211; FCC CONSTRUCCION S.A.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These consortia\/companies will be evaluated by ATTIKO METRO by the end of the year, in compliance with the criteria set in the Tender Documents and those preselected will be invited at the second stage of the Tender to submit a Financial Offer for the project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>METRO EXTENSION TO PIRAEUS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The starting point of the Metro new extension to the Western Suburbs will be AGHIA MARINA (HAIDARI) Station and its terminal EVANGELISTRIA Station at Piraeus, with 7 new Stations; the underground tunnel will be 8,2 km long. This extension will serve both the Western Suburbs of Attica Basin (Aghia Varvara, Nikaia, Korydallos) and the district of Piraeus, which will be served by 4 new modern Metro Stations (Tambouria, Piraeus, Dimotiko Theatro and Evangelistria) and will upgrade to a significant extent the quality of life of people who reside in Municipalities which until the present time have not been within easy reach of the city centre and Piraeus. Georgiou<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: justify;\" valign=\"center\" width=\"33%\">EVANGELISTRIA Station<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: justify;\" valign=\"center\" width=\"67%\">\u00a0Grigoriou Lambraki<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Line 3 extension from Aghia Marina (Haidari) to Piraeus is expected to serve more than 160 000 passengers on a daily basis, who will be able to travel in a comfortable, safe and rapid way by the Metro. \u03c4\u03bf \u039c\u03b5\u03c4\u03c1\u03cc. Both the Port of Piraeus and the central and commercial area of Piraeus will be served in terms of transportation by three new Stations (Piraeus, Dimotiko Theatro and Evangelistria), while the benefits for the University of Pireaus\u00a0 in terms of transportation will be significant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The budget of the project amounts to 570 million euros and the project construction is estimated to last 62 months upon conclusion of the contract.
