Shifting of the vehicular traffic in a section of Egnatia Street<\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to complete the works related to the construction of diaphragm walls at the southern section of VENIZELOU Station, the vehicular traffic is shifted to\u00a0the northern section of Egnatia Street is relocated.<\/p>\n

In particular, as of Tuesday January 8th the vehicular\u00a0traffic between Ionos Dragoumi and Aristotelous square is\u00a0shifted to the\u00a0north in Egnatia street for a six-month\u00a0 period<\/strong>. The said section of Egnatia street will continue to have two traffic lanes per direction\u00a0as presently.<\/p>\n

At the same time, there will be two traffic lanes at Venizelou Street, at a length of approximately 100 m\u00a0before (as per\u00a0the traffic flow) its intersection with Egnatia Street.<\/p>\n

Throughout the time period required for the completion of works, crews of the contracting consortium will make every effort to assist the operation of the adjacent companies.<\/p>\n

Thessaloniki Metro Department wishes to extend its warmest thanks to all residents and passing-by drivers for their understanding and co-operation in the construction of Thessaloniki Metro , such a major and complex project.<\/p>\n
