THESSALONIKI METRO – First phase of the Tender for the Thessaloniki Metro extension to Kalamaria
\n<\/strong>
\nThe Press and Public Relations Office of PEHODE has issued the following statement:<\/p>\n

<\/em>The largest transportation and environmental project in Thessaloniki, the Metro<\/strong> keeps expanding towards Kalamaria<\/strong>, with 5 new Stations (Nomarhia, Kalamaria, Aretsou, Nea Krini & Mikra)\u00a0and 4,8 km of underground Line. The budget of the project rises to 425,000,000\u20ac, which in addition to the construction of the first Metro extension also includes the creation of 1,000 parking places at Mikra terminal station.<\/p>\n

Today, Friday July 10th 2009, the envelopes for the expression of interest concerning the first stage of the Tender were submitted to ATTIKO METRO by the following construction firms:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u0391EGEK \u2013 IMPREGILO \u2013 SELI \u2013 ANSALDO STS<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0AKTOR ATE<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0MICHANIKI S.A.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0Consortium\u00a0 “DRAGADOS S.A. \u2013 \u039c\u039fHL\u039fS S.A.”<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Consortium “\u03a4\u0395R\u039d\u0391 S.A. \u2013 ALPINE BAU GMBH \u2013 FCC CONSTRUCTION S.A.”<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0Consortium “J&P \u2013 AVAX S.A. \u2013 GHELLA S.p.A. \u2013 ALSTOM TRANSPORT S.A.”<\/p>\n

These consortia\/firms will be evaluated by ATTIKO METRO in compliance with the criteria set in the Tender Documents and those preselected shall be invited to submit a Technical and Financial Offer for the project during the second stage of the Tender.<\/p>\n

The Tender procedure is foreseen for to be completed within 2010 (provided that there are no objections, appeals, etc.)\u00a0 and immediately after its\u00a0 completion the construction of the first extension of the Thessaloniki Metro will commence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
