{"id":5107,"date":"2009-09-11T07:02:25","date_gmt":"2009-09-11T04:02:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.emetro.gr\/?p=5107&#038;lang=en"},"modified":"2024-07-03T10:54:37","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T07:54:37","slug":"athens-metro-three-new-works-of-art-at-the-athens-metro-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.emetro.gr\/?p=5107&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"ATHENS METRO- Three new works of art at the Athens Metro network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Athens Metro, apart from offering comfortable, rapid and reliable trips, also contributes to the substantial improvement of the quality of life in the capital through the combined exhibition of significant archaeological articles that came to light during the metro excavation works and artworks by contemporary Greek artists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the first time in a public project in Greece, ATTIKO METRO S.A. implemented an extensive Art Program covering all the Stations of the Metro network and presently thousands of Greek and foreign Metro users who opt to use the metro for their daily trips are given the opportunity to admire a total of <strong>27 works of art<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recently, within the framework of the said Art Program, the works of art created by the late Opy Zouni, by George Lazongas and Theodora Voutsina &amp;
