The participation of ELLINIKO METRO S.A. in this year\u2019s OPEN HOUSE Thessaloniki event, held on Saturday the 25th<\/sup> and Sunday the 26th<\/sup> of November 2023, was crowned with success. The tour to AGIAS SOFIAS Thessaloniki Metro Station attracted considerable interest with more than four thousand people visiting the station.<\/p>\n

More precisely, 4,319 visitors from all age groups, despite the adverse weather conditions, came to AGIAS SOFIAS Station and were given a tour to all station areas, in order to develop a general idea of what the Thessaloniki Metro looks like. During their visit, they also had the opportunity to get a close look at two ultramodern trains parked at the station platforms throughout the two-day event.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce more, this year, the Open House project with the help of the volunteers and the assistance of ELLINIKO METRO S.A. executives gave a tour to more than 4,300 citizens of all ages in AGIAS SOFIAS Thessaloniki Metro Station. In this architectural celebration in the heart of November everyone had the opportunity to get a close look at the interior of the station, the materials it is composed of, their configuration, the modern trains and to learn important details on the operation of these systems. The city of Thessaloniki will soon welcome a new fixed track mode that will change the life and the daily habits of the residents\u201d pointed out the CEO of ELLINIKO METRO S.A.
