{"id":21114,"date":"2021-07-30T16:34:26","date_gmt":"2021-07-30T13:34:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.emetro.gr?p=21114"},"modified":"2024-06-25T13:29:11","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T10:29:11","slug":"thessaloniki-metro-development-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.emetro.gr\/?p=21114&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Thessaloniki Metro Development Study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the framework of the updated Transport Plan with a 20-year planning horizon,\u00a0<strong>ATTIKO METRO S.A. is developing the Metro Network Development Plan in Thessaloniki<\/strong>\u00a0based on the results of the project \u201cThessaloniki Metro Development Study (TMDS)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The preparation of the subject Study, which takes into consideration the entire\u00a0<strong>Urban Cluster and the Suburban Zone of the city of Thessaloniki<\/strong>\u00a0(total population: 1,110,000 citizens), calls for\u00a0<strong>the collection of<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>data<\/strong>\u00a0to be used in order to specify the transport related needs and the required infrastructure works in Thessaloniki. For that reason,\u00a0<strong>specialized work crews of the Constructing Company, trading as ATTIKO METRO S.A., will proceed to the inventory of households<\/strong>\u00a0at selected sampling points of the Study Area\u00a0<strong>from August 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0to August 31<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a02021<\/strong>, in view of preparing sampling lists for further conducting Household Surveys.<\/p>\n<p>ATTIKO METRO S.A. would like to sincerely thank you for your cooperation, understanding and contribution in this major survey aiming at upgrading transportation services and improving the quality of our lives.
